Heinz decided to update their ketchup package design. The new "dip and squeeze" package is available nationwide and on March 4th, a chain restaurant, Chick-fil-A, mostly found down south is doing a promotion. If you ask for the new package you get free fries between the hours of 2 and 4pm. This is a great way to promote. Great for Heinz and even better for the restaurant. Here at Hofstra whenever there is any kind of promotional free food, the students here don't miss out. Whether its on or off campus. So I'm sure Chick-fil-A will see a great incline of sales. According to core77.com this is an example of "humble product design." Something that "millions of people are going to touch and use everyday". I think its great. Great idea and great design.
